Project objectives:

  • Analyze European practice in effective methods of highly skilled engineering educators training;
  • Develop three programmes (basic, fundamental, advanced) for engineering educators with a variable set of modules based on modern education technologies such as e-learning;
  • Develop technology for creating individual paths in engineering pedagogics;
  • Develop patterns of international cooperation in implementing the modules and providing dissemination of outcomes and outputs;
  • Develop legal support documents and regulations for network cooperation;
  • Develop evaluation criteria for professional competencies mastered by engineering educators and criteria for training programmes quality assessment;
  • Assess the results of pilot programmes implemention.

The goal of the project is to adapt the dual system in Kazakhstan, which improves the competence of students in accordance with the needs of employers, increases the employability of graduates and strengthens cooperation with the private sector.

Project objectives:

  • propose changes in legislation/regulatory documents on adaptation of dual education in Kazakhstan;
  • provide students with the opportunity to gain more relevant knowledge and skills by combining formal education with on-the-job training;
  • develop a model of dual higher education that supports the different needs and interests of employers, higher education institutions and students in different industries, and to provide recommendations to higher education institutions for the implementation of dual education;
  • synchronize the programs of vocational colleges with the requirements for entering higher education institutions;
  • increase students' motivation to study and the interest of universities and companies in supporting and implementing dual education, and reduce student dropout;
  • create a network and research center for dual education and vocational training.

Edu-Fusion Network for Sustainable Growth is an integrated approach designed to transform higher education in Kazakhstan, focusing on aligning educational outcomes with labor market demands and promoting sustainable growth and job creation. The Project aims to create an ecosystem involving tight links between industry and academy, training and certification of educators and providing online courses relevant to market needs to ensure sustainable growth and entrepreneurship raise at national level in Kazakhstan.

Edu-Fusion NSG stands out for its commitment to accredited, high-quality professional development programs and teaching methodologies. Its innovative approach ensures that trained educators and designed courses in STEAM & Entrepreneurship meet stringent standards, aligning education with the evolving needs of the labor market and fostering an ecosystem conducive to sustainable economic growth and job creation in Kazakhstan.

This diverse collaboration aims to forge strong links between industry and academia, enhance educator training, and develop relevant online courses to foster sustainable growth and entrepreneurship within Kazakhstan's higher education landscape.

Project objectives:

  • analysis of European practices in the field of effective methods for training highly qualified engineering educators;
  • development of three programs for teachers of engineering specialties with a variable set of modules based on modern teaching technologies, such as e-learning;
  • development of technology for creating individual educational trajectories in engineering pedagogy;
  • development of models of international cooperation in the implementation of modules and ensuring the dissemination of results;
  • development of legal support documents and rules for network cooperation;
  • development of criteria for assessing the professional competencies acquired by engineering educators and criteria for assessing the quality of educational programs.

The main outputs:

  • Academia-Industry Collaboration Portal (AICP) will provide a bridge for partnerships between educational institutions and business sector. This portal facilitates joint surveys, projects and internships, focusing on skills crucial for value chain development and entrepreneurship.
  • Teacher Development and Support System (TDSS) will offer accredited training for educators, focusing on modern teaching methodologies and addressing educational disparities. This system will allow teachers to be internationally certified ensuring up-to-date skills and implementation of modern and adequate pedagogical approaches.
  • Virtual STEAM & Entrepreneurship Academy (VSEA) will be created to offer accredited online courses in STEAM and entrepreneurship, emphasizing gender inclusiveness and climate neutrality. This academy will provide cutting-edge curricula for students and professionals and ensure that these courses meet high quality standards and are directly relevant to market needs.
