Today, Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov welcomed an official delegation from Azerbaijan Technical University. The meeting was an important step in strengthening international cooperation between the two leading universities of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
The delegation of Azerbaijan Technical University was headed by its Rector, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Vilayat Mamed oglu Valiyev.
The delegation also included:
Manafaddin Namazov — Associate Professor, Director of the Institute of Industrial Design and Technologies;
Rahid Alakbarli — Doctor, Director of the Institute of Defense Technologies and Cybersecurity.
The guests were welcomed by the Chairman of the Board – Rector Nurlan Orynbasarovich Dulatbekov.
An introductory programme was arranged for the delegation during the visit. The guests toured the University History Museum, learning about the institution's rich heritage and achievements, and visited the Akylbayev Research Center technopark — a modern platform for science, innovation, and research.
The parties discussed prospects for international academic cooperation, joint educational programmes, scientific research, academic mobility of students and faculty, and the implementation of innovative projects in the fields of technology and cybersecurity.
The visit concluded with the signing of a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening the partnership between the universities and expanding collaboration in the academic and scientific sphere.
