"Development of emotional intelligence"

According to the Work Plan of the Center for the Development of Pedagogical Skills, in the period from October 18, 2021 to November 5, 2021, a training seminar was held on the topic: "Development of emotional intelligence."

The training seminar was conducted by Anar Rashidovna Algozhina - 3rd year doctoral student of the educational program "8D01100102-Educational Psychology", scientific supervisor Raikhan Sabirova Shaikhyshevna - Ph.D., professor of the psychology department, head of the department.

The aim of the training seminar was the formation of awareness and understanding of one's own emotions and the emotions of others, as well as the formation of practical skills for managing them.

      During the training seminars with the teachers of the university, work was done to improve the skills to recognize and understand their emotions, work with attitudes regarding emotions, expanding the stock of emotional vocabulary, increasing the level of skills to recognize and understand the emotions of others, manage their emotions and others, work to improve practical skills of maintaining and changing the emotional state.

     During the training seminars, elements of individual and group psychotherapy (art therapy, gestalt approach,) brainstorming, auto-training, breathing exercises, joint activities, communication, role-playing, imitation games, meditation techniques were used. As well as techniques for working out situations requiring the implementation of certain skills obtained during the training (skills of comprehending and understanding one's own and other people's emotions, the skills of establishing effective relationships in various situations, the skills of managing the emotions of other people), problem situations from the real activities of the participants were used, which were played and analyzed by the group.

        During the lessons in the group of teachers, a comfortable, friendly atmosphere was achieved, which allowed the participants to freely experiment with new ways of behavior and apply them at the level of practical skills.

The knowledge gained enables the participants to form the skills of building constructive interpersonal relationships, to carry out productive activities, to analyze emerging situations, to develop the ability to cognize and understand themselves and others (in the process of communication and activity).
