HIGH TECHNOLOGIES OF ANTIQUITY
Emma Radikovna Usmanova, a researcher at the Saryarka Archaeological Institute, participated in the International Scientific Conference "Archaeology, History, and Ethnography of Pastoralists and Nomads of Siberia and Central Asia, Dedicated to the Memory of Archaeologist D. G. Savinov (1941–2023), St. Petersburg, Russia, March 16–20, 2026. She presented a paper titled "Weaving Technologies as a Factor of Social Transformation (Based on Bronze Age Materials from the Lisakovsky Archaeological Microdistrict)." Analysis of woven textiles from the Alakul burials of the Lisakovsky Microdistrict (Kostanay Region) indicates a high level of development of weaving technologies. Three main dyes of madder (Rubia tinctorium) were discovered. Wool was dyed in all shades of red, creating a unique color palette for woven textiles. A candidate of chemical engineering, Usmanova, participated in the dyeing technology research. sciences V.N. Fomin.
