Webinar on the topic «Methods of teaching in higher education»

Center for the Development of Pedagogical Excellence of Karagandy Buketov University on January 20-21, 2022 on the ZOOM platform held a webinar on the topic "Methods of teaching in higher education" with junior teachers of Karagandy Buketov University. The webinar also addressed the issue of compiling tasks for students of full-time, part-time form of education using DET.

The lecturer of the webinar in Russian was Professor of the Department of Preschool and Psychological- pedagogical training, doctor of pedagogical sciences Karmanova Zhanat Alpysovna

The lecturer of the webinar in Kazakh language was the assistant professor Beisenbekova Gulmira Bekinovna

The purpose of the webinar is to assist junior university teachers in mastering and applying effective teaching methods in practice.

The relevance of the webinar topic lies in the need to train qualified personnel who are ready for independent practical activity, using innovative teaching methods in pedagogical activity.

The teachers of many universities face a difficult task, which is to teach students independent professional practice, to take decisive action in pedagogical situations, that is to stimulate pedagogical thinking, to activate creative potential, to form a steady interest in education, future profession.

The development of intellectual and creative potential is carried out not in specially organized classes, but throughout the entire long-term learning process: during lectures, seminars and practical classes.

First of all successful implementation of the task is possible, if it is understood by teachers working in universities. The effectiveness of the classes, the quality of training of specialists depends on the competence of the teacher, the ability to interest, captivate students.

In turn, the quality and effectiveness of the classes conducted depend on the skillful use of effective pedagogical technologies, that is active interactive methods that involve not passive perception of the material, but emphasizing the interaction of students, their active participation in the educational process. In order to stimulate learning process to acquire students' knowledge, it is necessary to rationally combine traditional forms and non-traditional forms of education, fill classes with new content through the use of innovative learning technologies, which will contribute to better assimilation of the material.

The participants of the webinar discussed the existing problems with the training of students,  also offered constructive suggestions for improving education at the university.
