On April 17, a significant event dedicated to National Book Day took place at KarNIU named after Academician E.A. Buketov.
During the event, the results of the university's internal testing as part of the "Reading Nation" project were announced, and students with the highest scores received awards. University Rector N.O. Dulatbekov presented the winners with his valuable work, "Alash Ardaqtylary," and expressed his best wishes to the students:
"I present to you the book 'Alash Ardaqtylary.' This work is dedicated to the nation's intelligentsia. Its main idea is the pursuit of knowledge. This quality is passed down from our ancestors, and may this spirit continue in you."
Another instructive aspect of the event was a book exchange campaign involving the Rector, Vice Rectors, faculty, department heads, and students. Participants, selected by lottery, gave each other books of various genres.
This noble initiative will not only increase participants' interest in reading but also foster a shared cultural tradition, spirituality, and deep knowledge.
