SOCIAL WORK AND SOCIAL PEDAGOGY: REALITIES AND PROSPECTS

A roundtable discussion with international participation was held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology at KarNIU named after Academician E.A. Buketov as part of grant project No. 9106-FS-26, "Psychological and Pedagogical Conditions for Developing the Professional Readiness of School Teachers to Interact with Children with Deviant Behavior."
The meeting's topic was "Social Work and Social Pedagogy: Realities and Prospects."
The event was attended by university faculty and staff, who discussed current issues related to preparing teachers to work with children with deviant behavior.
This topic is particularly important today. Developing teachers' professional readiness requires a comprehensive approach:
creating a safe and supportive educational environment;
implementing professional development programs;
developing early detection skills;
strengthening partnerships between schools, families, and specialists. Participants noted that the modern approach allows for an emphasis on pedagogical support, behavioral correction, and effective socialization of children.
