In accordance with Order No. 144 of the Minister of Science and Higher Education S. Nurbek dated March 20, 2026, "On the Awarding of Vacant Educational Grants Available in the Process of Obtaining Higher or Postgraduate Education Based on the Results of the Winter Examination Session of the 2025-2026 Academic Year," 102 students of the Karaganda National Research University named after Academician E.A. Buketov have been transferred to state educational grants, including 83 undergraduates and 19 graduate students.
All grant candidates underwent a competitive selection process, from faculty to the Academic Council. These are the most successful undergraduate and graduate students and, as a rule, also have achievements in the scientific and social life of the University.I
t is important to note that 50 undergraduate and graduate students received grants that became available at the University, and 52 won the Republican competition. The largest number of students who received grants are studying in groups B057 Information Technology, B051 Environment, B054 Physics, B055 Mathematics and Statistics, and B018 Foreign Language Teacher Training; graduate students are studying in groups M016History Teacher Training, M021 Special Pedagogics, 072 Management, and 094 Information Systems.
We congratulate our students on receiving state educational grants and wish them continued academic success and new achievements!
