“Training the members of the conciliation commission on the application of the norms of the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the basics of negotiating and reaching consensus in labor disputes (analysis of legal norms, review of judicial practice)”

On November 17-18, members of the conciliation commission of Karaganda University named after. E. A. Buketova are trained on the topic: “Training the members of the conciliation commission on the application of the norms of the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the basics of negotiating and reaching consensus in labor disputes (analysis of legal norms, review of judicial practice)”.

According to the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the conciliation commission is a permanent body created in the organization, its branches and representative offices on a parity basis from an equal number of representatives from the employer and employees. Members of the conciliation commission are required to undergo annual training on the application of the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the development of negotiating skills and reaching consensus in labor disputes.

Serikbekova Samal Bakytovna, candidate of legal sciences, lawyer in labor disputes, member of the Astana City Bar Association, member of the Advisory and Methodological Council under the Presidium of the Astana City Bar Association, acts as a lecturer-trainer at the event. Samal Bakhytovna is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of our university (1999).

During the training, an analysis of labor legislation is given, an overview of judicial practice, documents are studied, the procedure for conducting office work by the conciliation commission. There is also a group discussion, exchange of experience and analysis of the situation from practice, including from the practice of the seminar participants (CASE-STADY).
