A delegation from Karaganda Research University named after Academician E.A. Buketov, led by Rector Nurlan Dulatbekov, is participating in the International Forum "Partnership for Sustainable Development: Green. Digital. Smart," which officially opened yesterday in the capital of Tajikistan.
This large-scale event, initiated by the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, has become a global, multi-level platform. The forum brought together representatives of government agencies, the UN, businesses, and the academic community from numerous countries, including Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Russia. Key topics on the agenda include digital transformation, the green economy, artificial intelligence, and innovative technological solutions.
For the KarNIU delegation, participation in the forum is not only educational but also deeply practical. As part of the Rectors' Summit program, KarNIU Chairman of the Board Nurlan Dulatbekov will hold a series of strategically important bilateral meetings with the heads of leading universities in Tajikistan.
These working meetings will include a discussion of specific steps to integrate educational and scientific processes. The visit is expected to conclude with the signing of several memoranda of cooperation.
Academic student mobility: expanding opportunities for KarNIU students to undertake exchange studies at partner universities in Tajikistan and host Tajik students in Karaganda.
Faculty exchange: organizing guest lectures, internships, and joint educational programs to enhance the qualifications of faculty from both countries.
Joint scientific research: implementing startup initiatives and projects in the field of green economy and sustainable development, which are receiving special attention at the forum.
Participation in the "Green. Digital. Smart" forum underscores KarNIU's commitment to active international integration. Sharing experiences at such a prestigious venue will allow the university not only to strengthen bilateral ties with Central Asian countries but also to adopt advanced global practices in the field of intelligent management and digital technologies in education.
