E.A. Buketov Karaganda National Research University has entered the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 for the first time in the field of "Linguistics," ranking in the 301-350 range.
The QS subject ranking takes into account academic and employer reputation, the quality and citation rate of scientific publications, the h-index, and the development of international research collaborations.
This achievement was made possible by the systematic work of the faculty, their research results, the updating of their educational programs, and their active participation in international projects.
For our university, this is recognition of the quality of our linguistics students' training and the contribution of our scholars to the development of modern linguistics and foreign language teaching methods at the international level. We congratulate our faculty, students, and partners on this important achievement and thank the faculty for their contribution to strengthening KarNIU's international standing.
