IV International Online Scientific Competition “Sustainable Tourism Development”

On December 14-15, 2021 Y.A. Buketov Karaganda University, Marketing Department and Institute for Digital Economy Research invite to take part in the 4^th “Sustainable Tourism Development” International Online Scientific Competition.

The competition will be held within the following scientific areas:

• “Responsible Tourism as an Imperative of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)”;
• “Digital ecosystems in sustainable tourism: examples and projection on Kazakhstan”;
• “Advances in the world of digital technology for the sustainable development of tourism in the region”;
• “Problems of ecotourism development in Kazakhstan”;
• “Implementation of incentive and enforcement measures for the development of sustainable tourism”;
• “Creating a business model for eco-tourism”;
• “Apitourism as a way to protect a destination and its biodiversity”;
• “Digital tourists and workaticion”;
• “Green solutions for modern accommodation facilities”;
• “Noise pollution in a tourist destination”;
• “Research tourism as a symbiosis of science and tourism development”;
• “Sustainable Development and Preservation of World Heritage Monuments”;
• “Albergo Diffuso concept as an example of sustainable development of hotel enterprises”;
• “Innovative business models for youth tourism development”;
• “Development and placement of audio-guides on tourist destinations of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the platform izi.Travel: real examples”.

By December 13, teams wishing to participate in the international online competition should send an application form to the e-mail address of the organizing committee: tourism_competition@mail.ru. No more than 2 teams from one educational institution can apply.

Round I “Project”: the team provides a project in presentation format on the topic: “Author’s perspective on the sustainable development of urban tourism”, the project must be sent up to 00:00 hours on time in Nur-Sultan City until December 14, 2021 to the e-mail address of the organizing committee: tourism_competition@mail.ru.

Round II “Elevator Speech” is a video recording of each participant’s speech (in the form of a single video track), 1-2 minutes in length. The “Elevator speech” should be made according to the directions of the Competition, the video recording should be sent before 00:00 hours on time in Nur-Sultan City until December 15, 2021 to the e-mail address of the organizing committee: tourism_competition@mail.ru.

The basic requirements for research papers are presented in the Regulations of the International Online Scientific Competition.
