A FUNDAMENTAL WORK ON THE STUDY OF CENTRAL ASIA: A MEETING WITH DUMAN ZHEKENOV

On April 13, a meeting with Duman Kurmangazievich Zhekenov, PhD, Associate Professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was held at the History Department of Karaganda Buketov University.
During the event, the scholar's theoretical monograph, "Ortalik Aziya Muraty," was presented to faculty and students. This work is a fundamental study that analyzes historical continuity, geopolitical vectors, and contemporary processes in the Central Asian region from a scientific perspective. In addition to the monograph "Ortalyk Aziya Muraty," the series includes annual analytical collections devoted to Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan, as well as the expert publication "Kytai – Ortalyk Aziya: Taldau zhane sholu."
The new works are aimed at a comprehensive analysis of historical, political, and social processes in the region. This initiative aims to create a sustainable expert platform for developing strategic solutions on regional development issues.
The meeting was held in an open dialogue format: participants were able to ask the author questions and exchange professional opinions. The open discussion format facilitated a discussion of the most pressing issues of modern science.
At the end of the event, Duman Kurmangazievich gave a special lecture for students, sharing his experience with young researchers.
