A delegation from the Karaganda Research University named after Academician E.A. Buketov paid a working visit to the Technical University in Zvolen, Slovakia.
The university comprises four faculties, focusing on forestry, ecology, agriculture, and environmental protection.
Rector of the Technical University, Rudolf Kropil, noted that the university ranks first in Slovakia for research in the national ranking. He gave the delegation a campus tour, introduced the guests to the university's educational and scientific infrastructure, and demonstrated the state examination process. During the meeting, KarNIU Rector N.O. Dulatbekov presented the university's research potential and proposed cooperation within the framework of a mega-grant dedicated to the formation of innovative ecosystems for the development and implementation of technologies for the efficient use of natural resources and ensuring sustainable development for future generations.
Following the talks, the parties reached agreements on developing academic mobility for students and faculty, organizing research internships, and implementing joint research projects
