On April 26, a relay ultramarathon dedicated to the memory of Hero of the Soviet Union Martbek Mamrayev took place.
The 230-kilometer route was challenging but inspiring. The race started from the Karaganda Military Academy and ended in the hero's home village.
A total of 26 running enthusiasts took part in the relay, including K. Sh. Akshalov, Director of the Recreational Sports Center, and Buketov National University students.
The marathon became more than just a sporting competition, but a living symbol of respect for the heroic deeds of our great compatriot. The participants proved that the memory of heroes lives on not only in books, but also in the fortitude of today's youth.
