Grand victory in the BOSS 2024 competition

For two months, from March 1 to April 27, the student team “Pirates of the

Caspian Sea” participated in the Blue Ocean Strategy Business Idea Competition.

As part of the competition, the team was given the following tasks:

- to be trained in the Blue Ocean strategy from the leading scientist of Peter the

Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Candidate of Economics, Associate

Professor of the Higher School of Production Management Klimin A.I.;

- to solve the case from the company “PSS” LTD;

- to create the Blue Ocean strategy for your own start-up.

Members of the “Pirates of the Caspian Sea” team:

- Shipilova Yelizaveta - 7M11101-Tourism, the 1 st year;

- Seitov Zhandos - 6B11103-Restaurant and Hotel business, the 2 nd year;

- Dernova Valeria - 6B04113 - Marketing & SMM, the 1 st year.

The team “Pirates of the Caspian Sea” took the 2 nd place, the prize is 40,000

rubles, as well as points for admission to the Master’s program of SPbPU Peter the

Great.
