On May 29, 2026, the University held a working meeting with the chairs of the Certification Committees regarding the final assessment of students in the 2025-2026 academic year.
The meeting was chaired by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs M.M. Umurkulova. Participants in the discussion included Head of the Compliance Service V.I. Oleynik, Deputy Director of the Department of Academic Affairs S.V. Gagolina, Head of the Registrar's Office O.A. Tyan, and faculty deans.
The meeting addressed organizational and methodological issues related to the upcoming final assessment, the specifics of conducting comprehensive examinations and theses defenses, recording results, and adhering to established academic procedures. Particular attention was paid to issues of academic integrity, assessment objectivity, and ensuring the transparency of the final assessment process. The meeting participants emphasized the importance of independent and professional assessment of graduates' preparation and expressed hope for constructive and objective recommendations from the chairs of the Certification Committees for further improvement of the educational process and the quality of training for university students.
Final assessment is an important step in assessing graduates' learning outcomes and confirming the quality of specialist training.
