The XVI Republican Student Subject Olympiad by the specialty “Restaurant and hotel business” took place on May 16 at the Marketing Department and the Institute of Digital Economy Research of the Karaganda Buketov University!

Among the participants of the Olympiad, who passed to the final round, were the teams of the following universities of Kazakhstan:

- Karaganda Buketov University;

- Turan-Astana University;

- Almaty Management University;

- Turan University;

- Almaty Technological University;

- Kazakh University of Technology and Business named after K. Kulazhanov.

 

The following stages were offered to the participants of the Olympiad:

- “captains’ competition” - solution of theoretical and practical tasks on restaurant and hotel business;

- the project work by the topic: “Creation of a unique concept of a hotel in Kazakhstan with the development of public-art object”.

 

Leading experts from the hospitality industry, business and science were engaged as judges.

 

In accordance with the results, the winners in the team competition were:

 

1^st place

- The team of the students “Be my guest” of the Karaganda Buketov University with the following members: Abatov Merey, Kurpebaeva Leyla, Seitov Zhandos.

Scientific Head: Master of Economics, Teacher Grebenyuk Darya Dmitriyevna.

 

2^nd place

- The team of the students “LOTOS” of the Almaty Management University with the following members: Shadatova Shadijar, Ibraimhanova Alua, Tynyshbekova Altynaj.

Scientific leaders: Professor of Practice Daurenbekova Karlygash Sultangalievna, Senior Lecturer Sabirov Dilmurat Zakir-ogly.

 

- The team of the students “Miracle” of the “Turan-Astana” University with the following members: Chakueva Nazzhan, Baltinova Zhanel, Nurlankyzy Іnkar.

Scientific leaders: Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Atikeeva Sajran Nikolaevna and Master, Senior Lecturer Karazhanova Mejramgul’ Hasenovna; Master, Senior Lecturer Bajzakova Ajganym Serikovna.

 

3^rd place

- The team of the students “Shyraq” of the Kazakh University of Technology and Business named after K. Kulazhanov with the following members: Qyrgyzbaeva Arajlym, Hanatbekova Aruzhan, Baglanova Arajlym.

Scientific Head: Master, Senior Lecturer Mukanova Balzhan Shamerovna.

 

- The team of the students “Nejroparazity” of the Almaty Technological University with the following members: Sadykova Aida, Kremnev Aleksandr, Sardarova Ajsulu.

Scientific Head: Master of Science Chuvashev Sergej Jur’evich

 

- The team of the students “Turan leaders” of the Turan University with the following members: Harsanov Ljuchir, Putinceva Veronika, Alieva Aruzhan.

Scientific leaders: Senior-Lecturer Demeuova Bakytgul Maratkyzy, Senior-Lecturer Ospanova Anar Kajratovna.

 

According to the results of the individual scoring (captains’ competition), the prizes were distributed as follows:

Abatov Merej Isataevich – the team “Be my guest” of the Karaganda Buketov University.

 

2^nd place

- Tynyshbekova Altynaj Bakytzhankyzy – the team “LOTOS” of the Almaty Management University;

- Qyrgyzbaeva Arajlym Ruslankyzy – the team “Shyraq” of the of the Kazakh University of Technology and Business named after K. Kulazhanov.

 

3^rd place

- Sadykova Aida Zhandosovna – the team “Nejroparazity” of the Almaty Technological University;

- Harsanov Ljuchir Malikovich – the team “Turan leaders” of the Turan University.

- Chakueva Nazzhan – the team “Miracle” of the “Turan-Astana” University.

 

The scientific supervisors of the teams were awarded letters of thanks. The participants of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas, cups, and prizes.
