On February 12, an event dedicated to the 36th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan was held in the 7th building of the Karaganda Buketov University. Every year, the number of participants and eyewitnesses of military events is decreasing. That is why it is especially valuable that on this day our university was visited by the deputy chairman of the Public Association of Veterans and Disabled Persons of the War in Afghanistan "Ardager" of the city of Karaganda and the region, Tynymbaev Kairat Iranovich and his comrades in arms - Gilmidinov Sanir Gilmkhanovich and Akparov Amangeldy Tursunovich. It was nice to see that despite their advanced age, and, according to one of them, a hundred years of strong friendship, the men were energetic and answered all the questions of interest. And at the end of the meeting, they wished the people of Kazakhstan a peaceful sky above their heads, success in all endeavors and happiness. Remembering such events is necessary not only for the sake of respect for veterans, but also to learn lessons from them. War always means pain, loss, and ruined lives. Understanding this helps future generations appreciate peace and avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.
