MILITARY DEPARTMENT GRADUATES TAKEN THE OATH

On May 5, approximately 130 graduates of the Military Department of Buketov National University took the military oath, confidently taking a step toward becoming reserve officers in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by university administration, faculty members of the Military Department, and the students' relatives and friends, who witnessed this momentous occasion.
The Military Department at the university is a valuable environment for training future defenders of the homeland. Here, students, along with theoretical knowledge, hone their tactical skills during field training and master weapons and military equipment. They also develop such important qualities as decision-making in difficult situations, unit management, discipline, and responsibility.
At the ceremony, University Rector Nurlan Orynbasarovich Dulatbekov addressed the young officers with warm wishes:
"I congratulate you on this important milestone in your lives! Today, you have taken the oath of allegiance to serve the Fatherland. This is an enormous responsibility. Always remain loyal to your country and be true patriots. Defending the Motherland is the sacred duty of every citizen. I believe you will fulfill this responsibility with honor. May our country prosper!"
The head of the Military Department, Colonel Kairat Baltashevich Abishev, also noted the significance of the oath taking ceremony:
"This ceremony is a clear manifestation of faithful service to the Motherland. The Constitution clearly states the duty of every citizen to defend their country. Preserving the land bequeathed by our ancestors is our sacred duty. Therefore, we must study diligently and work for the good of the Motherland."
Kairanbay Dias spoke on behalf of the graduates:
"Today is a historic moment for us. The Military Department taught us discipline, responsibility, and the effective use of time. We express our sincere gratitude to our commanders. They gave us not only professional knowledge but also life guidance."
It's worth noting that among those who took the oath were also female students. This demonstrates that Kazakhstani women are also ready to defend their homeland.
This year, the military department celebrates its fifth anniversary. Over the years, it has trained hundreds of qualified specialists who today successfully strengthen our country's security.
We wish good luck to the young officers who solemnly took the oath!
