VI International Online Scientific Competition «Sustainable Tourism Development»

On December 7-8, 2023 Y.A. Buketov Karaganda University, Marketing Department and Institute for Digital Economy Research invite to take part in the 6^th «Sustainable Tourism Development» International Online Scientific Competition.

The competition will be held within the following scientific areas:

«Responsible tourism as an imperative of the UNWTO»;
«Urban tourism in the context of sustainable development»;
«Regional sustainable tourism policies»;
«Assessing the sustainability of destinations for rural tourism development»;
«Development and design of sustainable tourism products»;
«Cultural landscapes in sustainable tourism development»;
«The role of community in sustainable destination development»;
«Business model for sustainable development of wine tourism»;
«Stimulating the development of sports tourism in sustainable tourism destinations»;
«Innovative eco-hostel management concepts»;
«Hotel waste management systems»;
«The role of innovation in sustainable destination management»;
« Eco-hotel management practices»;
«Using green marketing tools to promote sustainable destinations»;
«Development of eco-brands in tourist destinations»;
«Restaurant business: green supply chain management»;
«Development of green restaurant management standards».

«Infographics» and «Scientific work» should be sent by one letter together with the application until 00:00 h. Astana time till December 8, 2023 to the e-mail: tourism_competition@mail.ru. Send contest documents as a single file in the archive format-.rar/ .zip.

Round I «Infographics» each team develops an infographic on the topic: «Business model for the development of a sustainable hospitality enterprise».

Round II «Scientific work» - submission of works by the team to the expert committee for consideration in the format of a multimedia presentation. The presentation should be made in the areas of the Competition.

The basic requirements for research papers are presented in the Regulations of the International Online Scientific Competition.
