CRIMINAL LIABILITY AND CONSEQUENCES OF OFFENSE DISCUSSED AT BUKETOV UNIVERSITY

A meeting between students and representatives of the Department of the Penitentiary System of the Karaganda Region was held at E. A. Buketov KarNIU.During the meeting, current and socially significant topics were discussed, including criminal liability for drug distribution, drug droppering, and various types of fraud. Convicts joined the online dialogue, sharing their personal experiences and discussing the consequences of their offenses.Students actively asked questions of both invited guests and convicts, making the discussion lively and informative for all participants.In the closing remarks, Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development N.A. Zhetpisbaev presented letters of gratitude to representatives of the penal system and B. A. Amanzholova, a candidate of legal sciences and associate professor of the Department of Criminal Law, Procedure, and Forensic Science. Letters of gratitude will also be sent to inmates. Active students who took the initiative and asked insightful questions received Buketov University promotional products.The meeting became an important platform for crime prevention and fostering a conscious attitude toward the law and personal responsibility among young people.
