In the period from March 13 to March 16, 2023, the accreditation procedure for 9 educational programs: "Biology", "Geography", "Foreign language: two foreign languages", "Pedagogy and methodology of primary education" (bachelor's and doctoral studies), "Pedagogy and psychology", "Physical culture and sports", "Cultural and leisure work" and "Social work" passed at Karaganda Buketov University. The compliance of these educational programs with international quality standards of higher education (ESG) was assessed by experts of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA).
The commission included national and foreign experts, representatives of employers and students of the Karaganda region.
During the work, the members of the commission met with the University administration, conducted interviews with vice-rectors, heads of structural divisions, deans of faculties, heads of departments, teachers, university students, graduates of different years, as well as with employers. All meetings were held in atmosphere of lively communication and mutual professional interest.
The experts conducted a visual inspection of the faculties: socio-cultural, sports infrastructure, educational, methodological and scientific base of the biological-geographical, pedagogical faculties, faculties of foreign languages, philosophy and psychology, physical culture and sports. The members of the expert group highly appreciated the level of material and technical equipment of the university facilities.
During the final meeting with the University administration, the members of the commission expressed their gratitude for the perfect organization of the accreditation procedure, noted the professionalism of teachers, the high motivation of students, the good interaction of departments with practice bases, employers and graduates.
