The Faculty of History was formed in 1938 on the basis of the Karaganda Teachers' Institute. Here they trained and continue to train specialists for the field of education and public service. During the Great Patriotic War, many teachers and students went to the front to defend their homeland, some of them never returned. The faculty continued to train personnel even during the harsh war years.
Today, the Faculty of History is a team of like-minded people, preserving and enhancing the traditions of previous generations of historians. Specialists are trained in four undergraduate specialties, three master’s specialties and one PhD specialty.
We wish you success and further prosperity!
