The Department of Transport and Logistics Systems trains specialists for the transport industry in undergraduate and master's programs. Students are invited to master training modules on transport services and vehicles, undergraduates get competencies in the field of transport technology and technology.
Graduates of the department can work in the field of production and operation and transport management, with a master's degree, teach and engage in scientific activities.
The research interests of the department are related to the study of topics such as "Development of a thermal generator plant for heating industrial facilities," "Thermal Energy Generation Plant," "Development and Study of the Design of a Traction-Bearing Organ of a Steeply Inclined Plate Conveyor with Linear Motors."

History
The department was founded in 1993 on the basis of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Vocational and Art Faculty. The first recruitment of students in the specialty 300440 - "Organization of Traffic" was carried out in 1997, and the graduation of specialists with the qualification "traffic engineer" was carried out in 2002.

Ovcharov; Candidate of science engineering, Associate Professor V.I. Nartya ; Candidate of science engineering , Associate Professor K.G. Karimov; PhD, Professor J.M. Teachers:
Currently, we have 13 teachers, including a doctor of sciences, 5 candidates of sciences, 7 masters, holders of the republican title "Best University Teacher": G.O. Tazhigulova, A.M. Zatyneyko , S.G. Kurymbaev.
Trainees:
Today, 287 students study at the department, including from Uzbekistan and Mongolia.

The employment rate of graduates ranges from 60 to 100%

Infrastructure:
The educational work of the department is provided by 8 educational and one scientific laboratories. The auditing fund of the department includes specialized laboratories on hydraulics and arrangement of transport equipment, technical means of traffic management and energy installations of transport equipment. Practical classes are held in training and production workshops.

Educational programs
6B11301 - Organization of transport, traffic and operation of transport: bachelor’s degree. The program is related to the study of passenger and freight traffic management, traffic control and safety and transport processes. In the course of training, students will be able to learn about passenger traffic management, traffic control skills, assessment of transport safety and many other aspects of transportation organization. Students will receive skills in organizational, management, design, operational and calculation activities. Students have the opportunity to study part of the subjects in English. Graduates receive bachelor's degree in services and will be able to work in organizations engaged in passenger and freight transportation, rail transportation, road safety services and other institutions related to the work of transport.
6B07105 - Transport, transport equipment and technology: bachelor’s degree. The program is directed to training of the expert having key and professional competences in engineering and engineering, transport, the transport equipment and technology. During the training, the student will learn to solve complex problems related to the design, operation and repair of transport equipment. Graduates receive degree of the bachelor of the equipment and technology and will be able to work at the motor transportation enterprises, the car repair plants, the enterprises and the organizations which are carrying out operation of the transport equipment; design and technological and scientific organizations, machine-building plants and machine-repair enterprises, enterprises and organizations of the automotive complex.
7M07113 Transport, transport equipment and technology: master's degree. The program is aimed at training a specialist who can make effective management decisions in the field of organization of transport processes. In the process of training, the undergraduate will learn to solve professional tasks in managing the technical condition of transport and transport-technological machines of various purposes at all stages of technical operation; improve technological processes for maintenance and repair of transport for various purposes. Undergraduates have the opportunity to study part of the subjects in English. Graduates receive master in transport and technology, which gives them the opportunity to conduct pedagogical activities, as well as work in motor transport enterprises, car repair plants, enterprises and organizations operating transport equipment.
