From June 23 to 24, 2024, at the invitation of the Chinese side, Chairman of the Board — Rector of the Karagandy University of the name of academician E.A. Buketov Nurlan Dulatbekov is visiting the Guangzhou City Polytechnic (China).
As part of the visit, Nurlan Dulatbekov took part in the opening ceremony of the Guangzhou International Sister Cities Alliance in the field of higher professional education. Guangzhou vocational colleges are leaders in the field of vocational education in China, including manufacturing and engineering technologies, information and communication technologies, construction and construction technologies, creative arts and fashion.
The Alliance also includes Novosibirsk Agrarian State University, the State University of Education of Russia, Tajik National University, the Center for Research of Innovative Technologies under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The Alliance's activities include regular round tables with heads of vocational colleges in sister cities, forums and seminars on vocational education and research projects on the integration of industry and education into vocational education, as well as the integration of science and education, vocational education competitions among young people, cultural and academic exchanges, and exchange of experience in innovation and entrepreneurship.
In addition, a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Guangzhou City Polytechnic was held in a ceremonial atmosphere.
