From history: the club "Shabyt" was created in 2000 with the aim of developing the poetry of students. Leading teachers of the Faculty of Philology - Zhansaya Zhangazievich Zharylgapov, Koilybai Dauletkhanovich Assanov took part in the organization and work of the club, a graduate of the university Sattybai Temirgalievich Zhunussov was the first head. Among the participants and heads of the club were university graduates, now famous akyns - Assan Miras, Rauan Kabidoldin, Yerganat Kenesbek and others.

Profile: members of the club organize poetry evenings with the invitation of young and famous poets and musicians, poetry competitions - aitys of akyns.
