The scientific center for collective use "Nanotechnology and functional nanomaterials" was opened by the order of the rector of KSU №1471 of 22.10.2019 to conduct fundamental and applied research in the field of physics of functional nanomaterials, organic electronics and photovoltaics.

The main scientific direction is the study of the generation and dynamics of the charge carriers transport in organic and inorganic functional nanomaterials.
