MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF JSC "FINANCIAL CENTER"

On February 19, a meeting with representatives of JSC "Financial Center" was held at the Palace of Students of Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov. At the event, Chief Specialist of the Monitoring Department of JSC "Financial Center" Akzira Serikkalikyzy explained in detail the conditions of mandatory three-year work-off for graduates who studied under a state educational grant, as well as doctors of philosophy (PhD). She recalled that since 2021, graduates can undergo work-off not only in state, but also in private organizations, which significantly expands their employment opportunities. Control over the fulfillment of these obligations is carried out through deductions to the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund, while any format of employment is taken into account - full-time, half or even a quarter of the rate. The specialist paid special attention to the correct execution of documents, emphasizing that errors or untimely submission of papers can lead to serious consequences. As an example, she cited cases where students on maternity leave did not properly fill out documents, which subsequently led to litigation. It was also noted that ignoring reminders and failure to fulfill obligations may entail court decisions made without the personal presence of the graduate.Another important aspect touched upon at the meeting concerned the transfer of students from a grant to paid education and vice versa. In such cases, the amount of funds reimbursed to the state is calculated proportionally to the period of study on a grant or paid basis.Specialists from JSC "Financial Center" reminded that documents can now be submitted in electronic format, which significantly simplifies the reporting process. However, if a graduate does not fulfill obligations and delays reimbursement of budget funds, a penalty is added to the principal amount, as well as legal costs. The second part of the meeting was traditionally devoted to questions from students, who were actively interested in the nuances of working off, employment opportunities and procedures for processing documents.
