BUKETOV UNIVERSITY INTERNAL GRANTS WIDENING RESEARCH ACTIVITY

This week, a message came from London that a group of scientists from Karaganda Buketov University, led by Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Law, Professor N. Dulatbekov, consisting of university researchers Z. Saktaganova, A. Mustoyapova, L. Kharitonova, Zh. Ibraimova and A. Kitibaeva published the book “The Famine of 1931–1933 in Central Kazakhstan. Collection of Archival Documents and Memoirs".

This remarkable work was published by the international scientific book and magazine publishing house "Palgrave Macmillan", UK. This publishing house is a subsidiary of Springer Nature, one of the largest academic publishers in the world. The publishing house unites the most prominent scientists of the world and has a wide network of representative offices in New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong, etc.

It is noteworthy that a group of scientists from Karaganda Buketov University was able to embark on the work on this historically significant and massive project under the finanicng of an internal research grant initiated by the university. As a rule, Buketov University internal grants allow university researchers to widen participation and spreading research excellence in grant funding through the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, state and international scientific projects.
