AN IMPORTANT STEP TOWARDS INTEGRATION
A delegation from the French company "Éveha International", one of the world leaders in the field of archaeological research, visited the Karaganda Research University named after E. A. Buketov.The company "Éveha International" has many years of experience in conducting field and rescue archaeological work, having implemented more than 80 large projects in 30 countries of the world - from Europe and Asia to America and Africa. This cooperation has become an important step in the development of international scientific relations of the Karaganda University and expanding the horizons of scientific activity in the field of archeology.The delegation includes archaeologists: the director of the company Creissen Thomas, as well as employees of Broglie de Moura Samara, Ricca Simone and Dubuis Guillaume.During the meeting, the importance of joint research activities in archeology was emphasized. The delegation members viewed the exposition of the Museum of Archeology and Ethnography, got acquainted with anthropological material, osteological and ceramic collections, which are stored in the funds of the Saryarka Archaeological Institute. These artifacts are of interest not only to specialists from Kazakhstan, but are also in demand by the international scientific community. The collections are unique scientific resources containing valuable materials for studying the historical and cultural heritage of the region and are actively used in interdisciplinary research. Of particular interest were the methods of conducting field research, documenting and storing artifacts used by Éveha International.During the negotiations, areas of potential partnership were considered in detail, including:development and implementation of joint research projects;participation in international grant programs;organization of internships, summer schools and academic mobility programs for students and teachers;Conducting joint field archaeological work and rescue excavations in Kazakhstan and abroad;exchange of specialists and scientific publications.The visit ended with the signing of a memorandum of mutual cooperation between the Karaganda University named after E. A. Buketov and the company "Éveha International" (France). The document will become the basis for systematic interaction in the field of science, education and cultural exchange. This visit was an important step towards the integration of Kazakhstani archeology into the international scientific space, expanding research horizons and strengthening the university's position as a center for advanced humanitarian and archaeological research in the region.
