V International Online Scientific Competition “Sustainable Tourism Development”

On December 8-9, 2022 Y.A. Buketov Karaganda University, Marketing Department and Institute for Digital Economy Research invite to take part in the 5^th “Sustainable Tourism Development” International Online Scientific Competition.

The competition will be held within the following scientific areas:

«Responsible tourism as an imperative of the UNWTO»;
«Digital ecosystems in sustainable tourism: examples and projection on Kazakhstan»;
«Environmental standards in the hotel business»;
«Greenwashing and the tourism industry»;
«Development and design of sustainable tourism products»;
«Practices of sustainable development of wine tourism»;
«WWOOF programs as a rural tourism trend»;
«Features of sustainable development of rural tourism: the impact of the community»;
«Green solutions for modern accommodation facilities»;
«Innovative concepts of eco-hostels management»;
«The impact of sustainable tourism development on event tourism»;
«Sustainable development and preservation of World Heritage sites»;
«Smart positioning of eco-hotels»;
«Innovative business models for the development of youth tourism»;
«Development and placement of audio guides for tourist destinations of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the platform izi.Travel: real examples»;
«The impact of green initiatives on transport infrastructure»;
«Features of sustainable tourism events organization».

By December 7, teams wishing to participate in the international online competition should send an application form to the e-mail address of the organizing committee: tourism_competition@mail.ru. No more than 2 teams from one educational institution can apply.

Round I «Essay»: each team member sends an essay on the topic: «The effectiveness of digital tools in promoting sustainable tourist destinations», essays in a single archive from all team members must be sent up to 00:00 hours on time in Astana City until December 8, 2022 to the e-mail address of the organizing committee: tourism_competition@mail.ru.

Round II “Video” is a video recording that must be made by team in the directions of the Competition, it must be sent before 00:00 hours on time in Astana City until December 9, 2022 to the e-mail address of the organizing committee: tourism_competition@mail.ru.

The basic requirements for research papers are presented in the Regulations of the International Online Scientific Competition.
