V International Online Olympiad by the educational program “Tourism”

On January 26-27, 2024 Karaganda Buketov University, the Marketing Department and the Institute for Digital Economy Research invite to take part in the 5^th International Online Scientific Olympiad by the educational program “Tourism”.

The competition will be held within the following scientific areas:

“Developing smart tourism products and services based on user experience”;
“Investment strategies in the tourism industry”;
“Management Strategies for Tourism Villages”;
“Innovations in gastronomic tourism”;
“Strategies for the development of sports tourism in the region”;
“Successful collaborations of tourism industry enterprises”;
“Concepts of set-jetting development in the region”;
“Actual directions of niche tourism”;
“Features of formation of tourist routes with tourist participation”;
“Author’s content in promotion of tourist destinations”;
“New directions of excursion tourism in 2024”;
“Exotic agrotourism as an actual direction for rural areas”;
“The role of immersive technologies in the leisure and entertainment industry”;
“Trends of educational tourism development in the CIS countries”;
“Gastronomic theaters as part of the food and Entertainment”;
“Creative platforms for tourism development”.

Round I “Tourist route”: each team develops a tourist route in the region/region/destination and prepares it in the format of a multimedia presentation.

Round II “Video”: video should be made according to the directions of the Olympiad.

By January 26, teams wishing to participate in the international online Olympiad should send works and an application form (Annex 1 of the Regulations) to the e-mail address of the organizing committee: international_tourolimpiada@mail.ru. No more than 2 teams from one educational institution can apply.

The basic requirements for research papers are presented in the Regulations of the International Online Scientific Olympiad.
