VII International Online Scientific Competition «Sustainable Tourism Development»

On December 10, 2024 Y.A. Buketov Karaganda University, the Marketing Department and Institute for Digital Economy Research invite to take part in the 7^th «Sustainable Tourism Development» International Online Scientific Competition.

The competition will be held within the following scientific areas:

“Responsible tourism as an imperative of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)”;
“Urban tourism in the context of sustainable development”;
“Regional policy in the field of sustainable tourism”;
“Development of sustainable entrepreneurship: initiatives and prospects in the region”;
“Methods for assessing sustainable tourism in the regions”;
“Digital technologies in the development of sustainable urban tourism”;
“The role of the community in the sustainable development of the destination”;
“Business model of sustainable development of wine tourism”;
“Organization and planning of cruises: compliance with the principles of sustainable development”;
“Current research directions in the field of sustainable tourism: AI capabilities”;
“Waste management systems of hotel production”;
“Development of tourist routes with a focus on inclusivity”;
“Practices of preservation of UNESCO cultural heritage sites”;
“Using green marketing tools to promote sustainable destinations: case studies”;
“Development and promotion of domestic eco-brands in tourist destinations”.

«Mindmap» and «Scientific work» should be sent by one letter together with the application until 00:00 h. Astana time till December 10, 2024 to the e-mail: tourism_competition@mail.ru. Send contest documents as a single file in the archive format-.rar/ .zip.

Round I «Mindmap» each team creates a scheme on the topic: “Sustainable development of rural regions”.

Round II «Scientific work» - submission of works by the team to the expert committee for consideration in the format of a multimedia presentation. The presentation should be made in the areas of the Competition.

The basic requirements for research papers are presented in the Regulations of the International Online Scientific Competition.
