The students of E.A. Buketov Karaganda University take part in the XXXII World Winter Universiade (Italy, Turin): Almira Ibragimova, a student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, a holder of the 1st adult category in ice hockey, and a prize-winner of the Winter Youth Games in the national team of Astana. Aleksandra Bystrova, a student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, has the 1st junior category in ice hockey, and she was a participant of the Winter Youth Games in 2020. Damir Kurmanov, a student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, is a master of sports in short-track, a multiple champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the champion of the І Winter Games Children of Asia 2019, and a prize-winner in an international tournament “Alta Valtellina Trophy” in Italy 2024. We wish the guys success at the XXXII World Winter Universiade.
