Social work and volunteering in Kazakhstan


Today, Akhmetova Indira Abdigazymovna, a senior lecturer at the Department of Social Work and Social Pedagogy of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, gave a lecture as a foreign guest lecturer on the topic "Social Work and Volunteering in Kazakhstan" for 2nd-year students of the "Social Work" educational program of the Nezahat Keleshoglu Faculty of Health Sciences of Nejattin Erbakan University.During the lecture, the formation and development of social work in Kazakhstan, the modern social service system and its structure, volunteering and its historical significance in Kazakh society, the role of young people in social work and their participation in volunteering, as well as the activities and experiences of the "Good Way" volunteer club were considered. This lecture provided students with important information about the development of social work and volunteering in Kazakhstan and encouraged them to make their own contributions to this field in the future.
