CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL BRIDGE BETWEEN KAZAKHSTAN AND POLAND

On 25 November, Karaganda Buketov University was visited by Pawel Sowa, coordinator of exchange programs at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. The purpose of his visit was to strengthen international co-operation and expand educational opportunities for students. Within the walls of the university, he also discussed the prospects for the development of academic ties between Poland and Kazakhstan, the possibility of students from both countries to participate in exchange and double degree programs. Adam Mickiewicz University, known for its strong programs in English, actively develops international exchanges, attracting students from all over the world. «We are interested in expanding cooperation, especially in areas such as chemistry and geography, and would like to offer our Kazakh partners several promising educational projects», said Pawel Sowa. During the visit, Pawel Sowa stressed that Kazakhstan is a dynamically developing country that attracts the attention of international educational organizations. He expressed admiration for the diversity and openness of the country, which makes it interesting for both students and academic partners from all over the world. «Kazakhstan is actively developing its infrastructure, including higher education. We see a huge potential for cooperation within the framework of the exchange of students and teachers», Pawel Sowa added. A special point of the visit program was a visit to the University Museum, where the guest got acquainted with the rich cultural heritage and scientific achievements of the educational institution. The visit was rounded off with a meeting with Kazakhstani students. Pawel Sowa answered their questions and spoke in detail about the opportunities to participate in exchange programs and study at Adam Mickiewicz University. The students showed great interest in these initiatives, noting the importance of such programs for their professional and personal development.
