December 29, 2022 senior lecturers of the Department of Philosophy and Theory of Culture Anlamasova Y.Zh. and Starovik P.P., as well as the curators of groups and students of the 3rd and 4th courses of the educational programs "Philosophy" and "Religious Studies" organized a cultural and educational event " My profession is my future" and held as part of career guidance work with graduate students of educational institutions in Karaganda.
The event was attended by teachers and pupils of schools No. 3, 27, 81 and the school-gymnasium named after Al-Farabi of Karaganda, and senior teachers of the department (Baybosunov D.B., Dzhumageldinov M.N., Donetskskaya N.A. . and Uksubaeva M.T.) and students of 1-4 courses of the above educational programs.
An introductory speech was made by the head of the Department of Philosophy and Theory of Culture, Ph.D., Associate Professor Seifullina G.R., who spoke about the relevance of the educational programs "Philosophy" and "Religious Studies" in modern times and the need for the right choice of one's future profession.
Then next speech was given to Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor Kolumbaev B.E., who delivered a bright and emotional speech, emphasizing the value of philosophy in human life and urging schoolchildren to choose the profession of a philosopher, as it helps a person to realize his need in the world.
Further, the 3rd year students of the educational program "Philosophy" Zhumagaliyev Nurasyl and Toktamysova Aigerim, the 4th year student of the educational program "Philosophy" Beletsky Tamirlan and the 3rd year student of the educational program "Religious Studies" Kalken Zhansaya made their presentations about their chosen educational programs. Schoolchildren also made sure that students not only study, but also actively participate in the social life of the faculty and develop their creative abilities. The 1st year student of the educational program "Religious Studies" Shyrakbai Kairat and the 2nd year student of the educational program "Philosophy" Molgazhdar Ayaulym showed their musical performances.
Then, graduates of the Department of Philosophy and Theory of Culture of different years (Aralbay S., Bakirova A.T., Gapbasova A.G., Dulat A., Meiramova N., Raisov B., Sadykova T.M.) sent video addressed the students and shared their experience of studying at the faculty and their achievements in their professional activities.
At the end of the event, was held an intellectual quiz game “Thing in itself” by senior teacher of the department,Starovik P.P. ,which aroused great interest among both students and pupils with its intriguing questions and creative tasks, as a result of the game winners were determined and awarded with certificates of honor.
We hope that this meeting will be regularly and usefully for both school graduates and students, and will also significantly increase the prestige of the educational programs "Philosophy" and "Religious Studies" among pupils of secondary schools, lyceums and gymnasiums.
