Today in Karaganda Research University named after academician E.A. Buketov a meeting with the delegation of Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) took place. During the event the implementation of the dual inter-university educational programme aimed at strengthening academic cooperation and expanding opportunities for students was discussed. The TUSUR delegation included: - Pavel Vasilievich Senchenko, Vice-rector for academic work and international activities. - Alexander Zabolotsky, Director of the Institute of Radioelectronics and Communication Systems. During the meeting the achievements of the programme, which allows students to receive diplomas from two universities, as well as its impact on the educational process were discussed. The representatives of both sides noted the importance of the programme for the development of international academic relations and professional opportunities for students. The representatives of both sides emphasised that this initiative plays a key role in strengthening international academic ties and improving the professional prospects of graduates. One of the central issues was the harmonisation of educational standards of the two countries, as well as the creation of new opportunities for scientific and practical research of students. The successful implementation of the programme has opened up prospects for its expansion. An important initiative was the proposal to create a laboratory for digitalisation of electronics on the basis of the university's technopark, which will give students access to the latest technologies and teaching methods. At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence in further successful co-operation, which will help students to expand their knowledge and skills. The event was held in a constructive atmosphere , and all participants noted the importance of such initiatives for strengthening educational and scientific interaction between the universities.
