On March 24-25, 2022, the Accounting Department of the Faculty of Economics of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia held the III Eurasian Student Olympiad in Accounting "Accounting around us".
The Eurasian Student Accounting Olympiad "Accounting around us" is aimed at expanding the theoretical knowledge and skills acquired, developing professional competencies in the field of accounting, taxation and auditing, thereby increasing the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market.
The Olympiad is aimed at supporting the professional and research activity of students, future economists who ensure the financial security of companies, both within the Russian Federation and abroad. An event of this level not only allows you to expand your theoretical knowledge and skills, but also contributes to the development of professional competencies in the field of accounting, taxation and auditing, thereby increasing the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market, and promotes the image of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia among the leading universities of the EAEU.
The international orientation of the Olympiad allows youth teams of various universities, using a creative and creative approach to solving problems, to exchange knowledge within the framework of scientific schools.
The team of the Department of Accounting and Audit, Faculty of Economics of the Karaganda Buketov University, consisting of Bimagambet Akerke, Ginayatova Karina, Yerbolatova Sabina, Zhaksylykova Dana, Smolik Ekaterina completed their homework and reached the final of the Olympiad. The team received a Diploma for winning the nomination "Keepers of Accounting traditions", also in the individual competition Bimagambet Akerke received a Diploma of the III degree under the guidance of the supervisor Temirbekova L.A.
30 teams from 5 countries participated. The Olympiad was held in a mixed online-offline format.
