On March 28-29, the XVI Republican Subject Olympiad in the disciplines of the educational program “Cultural and Leisure Work” was held among students of universities in Kazakhstan at the Buketov University of Karaganda. The participants of the Olympiad were evaluated by a professional jury, which included: the head of the Drama Theater named after Saken Seifullin Kalymov Kurman Omirbekuly; soloist, composer, director of the Saryzhailau cinema Sayat Abdigali, associate professor of the department of social work and social pedagogy Garkusha Kira Georgievna, director of the Zharkyn folk dance ensemble Toyboldina Aiman Nurlankyzy; laureate of the Youth Union of Kazakhstan, cultural figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan Espaev Dunai Amandykuly. K.G. Garkusha noted that the Olympiad became a bright event, allowing to evaluate not only the knowledge of students, but also their creative abilities. “We were convinced of your professional skills and saw your creative desire to be bright, proactive and creative. Congratulations to all participants on a successful performance,” she said. According to the results of the Republican Subject Olympiad in the disciplines of the educational program “Cultural and Leisure Work”, first place was taken by students of South Kazakhstan University named after. M. Auezov, in second place was the team of Kokshetau University named after Abay Myrzakhmetov, in third place were students of Taraz Regional University named after M.Kh. Dulati and the team of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University. We congratulate the participants on their well-deserved prizes and wish them creative success!
