LECTURE – DIALOGUE WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF JUDGES OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

On September 15 at Karaganda University named after academician E.A. Buketov gave a lecture with the participation of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Elvira Abilkhasimovna Azimova and all members of the Constitutional Court.

The meeting was attended by teachers and students of the law and history faculties. The event was opened by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the University Nurlan Orynbasarovich Dulatbekov. He noted that every year the strongest lawyers of the university make a significant contribution to the work of the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan, and today the same process is taking place - joint work with the Constitutional Council continues within the framework of the Memorandum. He also spoke about the achievements of the university, which has become the center of higher education in the Karaganda region, and presented its development.

The meeting discussed the role of the Constitutional Court, its current priorities and goals.

“The main ideology of our policy is respect for people. Ensuring stability in society while respecting human rights,” said Elvira Abilkhasimovna. She noted that not only the Constitutional Court controls the request of society, the state’s compliance with this request, but also every citizen of Kazakhstan. She focused on the issue of increasing citizenship, legal culture, and the formation of ethics in society and in the professional environment.

Judges of the Constitutional Court - Aizhan Erzhanovna Zhatkanbaeva and Roman Anatolyevich Podoprigora gave a general overview of the activities of the courts, compliance with law enforcement practices in government agencies, human rights, increasing legal literacy, etc.

“Today it is important to increase the share of young people in the apparatus of the Constitutional Court, and we invite young scientists in the field of law to work together,” emphasized A. E. Zhatkanbaeva.

The meeting became educational, informative and an important dialogue platform.
