The Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology of Karaganda Buketov University is organizing a guest lecture course on the topic "Cross-cultural and ethnic psychology ". The lecturer is Victoria Galyapina, candidate of Psychological Sciences, Chief Researcher of the International Scientific and Educational Laboratory for Sociocultural Research, Associate Professor of Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, National Research University (Moscow, Russia). The lecture course will be organized online from April 3rd to April 25th, 2023 (72 hours in total).
Course of Galyapina N.V. will help students and teachers to gain knowledge on the main cross-cultural approaches to the analysis of individual and group behavior of people; understand the cultural and psychological factors that influence the formation, development of children, individual and group behavior, as well as intergroup relations; to form knowledge of the psychological mechanisms that influence the communication of representatives of different cultures and an understanding of the psychology of migration and the specifics of practical work with migrants and ethnic minorities. In addition to the lectures, the course includes seminars, group and individual consultations, consultations on the scientific projects and publications.
