Round table "On the scientific foreign internship of doctoral students at Gazi University (Ankara, Turkey): studying the work experience of primary school teachers of the Gazi University Foundation"

On May 15, 2023, at the Department of Pedagogy and methodology of primary education was held a round table on the topic: "On the scientific foreign internship of doctoral students at Gazi University (Ankara, Turkey): studying the work experience of primary school teachers of the Gazi University Foundation", conducted by doctoral students of the 3rdyear of the educational program 8D01301: "Pedagogy and methodology of primary education" by G.S. Otynshina, S.Kh. Medieva.

The purpose of the round table was to defend doctoral students'reports on the scientific foreign internship at Gazi University at the Faculty of Education (Eğitimfakültesi), as well as to study the work experience of primary school teachers of the Gazi University Foundation.

During the round table the following issues were discussed: - activities according to the scientific internship program (consultations of the scientific supervisor, professors of Gazi University within the framework of scientific research, search for information in the card and electronic catalogs of the Ankara National Library, Gazi University Library, etc.); - visiting and studying the work experience of primary school teachers of the secondary school of the Gazi University Foundation (visiting and studying the work experience of primary school, attending additional classes (chess class, robotics class, music room and theater class) and extracurricular activities with students of grades 1-4).

In conclusion, the doctoral students noted that this internship significantly improved their competence in the field ofmethodology of scientific and pedagogical research by familiarizing themselves with foreign experience in organizing and conducting scientific research, comparing and adding new ideas to the previously used approaches.
