On May 3, 2023, according to the network schedule of the Faculty of Additional education, at the Department of Pedagogy and methodology of primary education was held a one-day seminar on the topic "Criteria-based assessment of university students' activities".
The seminar was attended by young teachers and master's students of the pedagogical faculty. The moderator of the seminar is a Master of Pedagogical Sciences, senior lecturer Dosova L.A.
The aim of the seminar is to reveal the essence and significance of the system of criteria-based assessment for efficient learning, and to form skills for developing evaluation criteria. Theoretical issues such as: the conceptual structure of the system of criteria-based assessment; principles, purpose and objectives of criteria-based assessment; various approaches to assessing students' academic achievements are considered. In the practical part of the seminar, the students independently developed evaluation criteria and descriptors for the suggested topics.
The seminar contributed to the training of students in the implementation of the criteria assessment system in practice.
