This year, from June 6 to June 15, 2022, the teaching staff group of the Department of Psychology of Karaganda University named after E.A. Buketov under the guidance of Doctor of Psychology, Professor B.A. Amirova were on a business trip at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek in Tashkent (Zhanserikova D.A., Moldabaeva R.A., Nurgalieva S.M., Sadykanova R.E., Zhenіs A.K.).
The purpose of the visit is to collect the scientific works of Salken Balaubaev, who was sentenced to 20 years as an "enemy of the people" under Stalin's repressive decree in 1937-1938. The reason is that a scientist, psychologist, translator, and teacher worked together with the intelligentsia of our country at that time. In 1924-1929, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Pedagogy-Psychology of the former Central Asian University and worked at the named university. In 1929-1932, he opened a psychological research laboratory at the Institute of "Psychophysiology and Labor Psychology" next to the named university in Tashkent, and during his work he wrote many works. Today, his research and valuable works of Salken Balaubaev are lost, as they were burned during the arrest. For these reasons, we were looking for the work of a scientist in the Tashkent Educational Foundations. In the course of the work, dissertation research and scientific articles of the scientist were discovered. Therefore, we believe that our trip was a success. During this visit, we visited Tashkent universities, where S. Balaubaev worked and studied, and met many scientists. Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Kadyrov B.R., Vice-Rector for Science of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Doctor of Philology, Professor Raimo Khakimovna, Head of the Department Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Chairman of the Dissertation Council Mukhamedova D.G. and head of the department of social psychology Shamsiev U.B. etc. Psychologists were very helpful. We would like to thank these colleagues for their sincere interest in our research and their support!
