On April 21-22, 2022, the XIV Republican Student Subject Olympiad was held on the educational program "6B03103-Political Science". The Olympiad was organized by the Department of Political Science and Sociology.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to stimulate the educational, cognitive and research activities of students; to reveal their creative abilities; to select and support the most talented and gifted students; to promote the formation of the intellectual potential of students; to attract students to solving scientific problems of our time.
6 teams from 5 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan were announced to participate in the second stage of the Olympiad.
The official opening of the Olympiad took place on April 21, 2022 at 10.00 in the 13-line auditorium of the 8th academic building of KarU. The Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov, Doctor of Law, Professor N.O. Dulatbekov, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, PhD Beisenova A.A. addressed the participants of the Olympiad with a welcoming speech and a wish of creative success.
The Olympiad program included 4 rounds, of which two rounds were within the framework of homework.
At the end of all stages of the Olympiad, the team results for each competition were announced. In accordance with the total points received by the teams within the four rounds, the prizes were distributed as follows:
1st place: the team of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
2nd place: the team of L.N.Gumilev Eurasian National University and the team of M.Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
3rd place: Toraighyrov University team and the team of the E. A. Buketov Karaganda University.
The video "Political Scientist and Modern Society" by the team of the E.A.Buketov Karaganda University was awarded the prize of the Professor K.N.Burkhanov Foundation for creativity and originality of thinking in preparing the task.
The jury members noted the high level of preparation of the Olympiad participants. The Olympiad was positioned as a humanitarian technology aimed at the creative competition of students in the creative application of knowledge and practical skills in the field of political science.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of KarU Zhusipbek T.Z. congratulated the participants of the Olympiad, noted the increasing role of the youth political science community in solving urgent problems of Kazakhstan's development, wished creative success, professional self-realization and presented diplomas and memorable gifts.
The participants of the Olympiad visited the museum of the University named after Academician E.A.Buketov, made an introductory tour to the museum of memory of victims of political repression in the village of Dolinka (Karlag Museum).
