A competition in orienteering and tourism among the faculty of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports was held at the Karaganda University named after Academician E. A. Buketov.4 teams from each department of the faculty took part in the relay race. The participants had to find 4 checkpoints, which were located on different floors of the main building of the university.The competition was held in several stages. At the first stage, the teams received maps indicating the location of the intermediate checkpoints. Then each of the participants had to practice a certain technique of tying a knot and pass the baton to a teammate.The winner was the team of the Department of Sports and Pedagogical Disciplines. The second place was taken by the team of the Department of Physical Education, the third place was shared by the teams of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education and Sports and the Department of Basic Military Training and Martial Arts.
