On February 27, 2025, university researchers Zeynidenov A.K., Aliyev E.M., Afanasyev D. and project manager of the CPTI DN Bazaralina A.A. visited the optical and LAN cable manufacturing plant KCEP in Saran. It is the first manufacturer of optical and LAN cable in Kazakhstan. As part of the visit, there was a sightseeing tour of the entire plant: they visited the laboratory, production workshops and the central warehouse. During the tour, they were given the opportunity to see the full technological process of cable production, including the features of the production and testing equipment. Also, the Director of the Technical Department, who conducted the tour, gave a general understanding of the organizational structure of the company, the functionality of the company's structural divisions, with how new ideas are discussed, which are subsequently selected for implementation.At the end of the working meeting, a round table was organized with the participation of the Director of the Technical Department Rukaber A.V., the Director of the Production Department - Dubinyuk K.I. and Head of the HR Department – Khasanova D.Kh. The possibilities of cooperation between the University and business through the implementation of joint scientific projects based on the laboratories of KSEP and KarU, internships and practices of students, participation of KSEP employees in the training of graduates were discussed. The university scientists spoke in more detail about the existence of state grants for scientific developments that would be of an applied nature and solve real business problems in the region. Agreements were made on joint R & D based on the scientific technopark "Akylbaev Research Centre".
