On the December 19, 2022, as part of initiative developed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Digital Development and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Center for the Development of Payment and Financial Technologies of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with Binance Academy officially signed a memorandum of academic cooperation where more than 40,000 specialists will be trained in Kazakhstan on the basis of selected higher education establishments using blockchain technologies.
On December 22, Buketov University represented by the head of the Rector's office S. Kalkamanov, the head of the Undergraduate and graduate programs of M&IT Faculty A. Keldibecova hold an online session with the faculty of the North Carolina State University (USA), Nazarbayev University and the represantative from Astana HUB and have discussed issues related to the training of staff related to the blockchain industry, but also on cybersecurity. Meanwhile, that the training of new cybersecurity specialists in Buketov University will launch in the 2023 academic year.
Foreign professors have expressed their support in providing training of specialists on the blickchain and cybersecurity issues.
